Comments from an agency who attended this session live: "Ted, I was blown away by your 'How To Become an Awesome Producer' call today! What a breath of fresh air. Wow! An honest, confident, arrogant approach to selling that says, “I’ve got what you need, and I’m here to get a check, and if you don’t do business with me, you lose.” I’ve always sort of thought those things in the back of my mind, but had instead been taught to use 'tricks and techniques' and to 'squirm and weasel' in order to mask the core reality – the one reason I’m really there - to sell something and get a check. I’ve always resisted leading with low price… never really wanted to have the lowest price anyway… because what does that say about me? I don’t want to be the cheapest anything. I’d rather be the Porsche or at least the Cadillac or Volvo. But not the Kia… anything but that. I guess I just never thought this approach would work, since I’ve never come across a sales trainer or sales book that suggested it. I’d be very interested in hearing more of your sales philosophy.
