McLean Insurance Triples Agency Size in 36 Months

"My name is Michael McLean, I am an insurance agency Owner from Perth, Ontario, Canada.  We were able to triple the size of our agency from 3.4 million dollars in premium volume to 10.3 million in 36 months.  I just wanted to let everyone to know how an important part Advanced Automation had in that.    We were looking at having to move out of our building, buy a new place.  More importantly productivity was not where it should be.  In 2002 I joined the Advanced Automation program with Ted Baker.  Within 90 days were able to move from a completely 100% paper organization to completely file-less in 90 days.  

We have over 7,000 client files now and we do not have one single paper file in our agency.  This has allowed us to stay the same building in the same location in our community which is very important.  We have not had to go out a buy another building.   The productivity is the bottom line profit for my company, McLean Insurance.

 I could not believe we were able to learn all these systems and procedures on the internet.  We just couldn’t believe how much time we saved and how much money that has made for us being part of that program.  That was a big part of us growing 3 times our size in 36 months.  We just could not have done that without the supporting technology.  It’s O.K. to have all kinds of sales and be writing over 200 policies a month.  But if you don’t have the technology and systems and procedures that we learned thru Advanced Automation, you have no chance to provide the service ongoing that will keep those accounts.  In a word, “profitability” has been my experience with Advanced Automation.  To Ted and his team, thank you very much.  It’s been fantastic for us at McLean Insurance."
