How Do You Eat An Elephant?
One bite at a time!
Anyone other than me get frustrated when it seems like there is
too much on your plate? Ever feel like, "Why bother! Will
anything I do really make a difference?"
Then learn what I did. The only way to eat an elephant is one piece at a time. And the same is true for the changes you want for your agency.
If this is you, then the first thing you do (as in right now while you are reading this newletter) is pick up the phone and call Dan Young, your personal coach. (His number is 972-495-1551)
Talk with Dan about where you are in the program. Then together decide on what is the smallest, most insignificant, but most guaranteed thing that you can accompish by the end of the day tomorrow.
Once you complete this task, get with Dan and decide on 3 or 4 other items that you can accomplish over the next week. By changing one small thing at a time, you will be amazed at what you will accomplish in a very short amount of time. You might feel like you are behind schedule with the program, but the reality is you are right on schedule. Your scheudle.
Progress is much like eating an elephant - one bite at a
time.

"Winning"
by Jack Welch
Jack Welch
Jack
Welch is a passionate guy. He's crazy about modern art,
the Boston Red Sox and winning in business — not necessarily
in that order.
In "Winning", Welch dispenses the sharp-edged
business acumen that earned him a reputation as a daunting
corporate leader. He is giving back what he learned,
and not just to fellow CEOs. He is able to write a book
that might just reach the rest of us
.

Production and

Chris Burand
Whenever
I write, speak, or consult about producer production
and compensation, the response is always huge.

me more. They either want me to rationalize their lack
of productivity or they want to know how to fix the
problem.

The Natural
Law of Cycles
Dr. Bill Crawford
All
problems (and solutions) present themselves as a cycle
of cause and effect. When this cycle is negative, there

Read what
are agencies are saying...
Our customers are our best examples of our commitment to your success.
“We have used Advanced Automation concepts in our
office and what a benefit it has been to streamline
our operation.
Advanced Automation brings to the agency a common
sense approach on handling everyday issues that we did
not even realize were reducing our productivity.
Our association has made it possible for us to
set up new procedures, rethink many workflows and we
did not have to invent the wheel.
Advanced Automation already has the concepts
in a workable format for us to begin.
We look forward to our continued relationship
as our agency grows and prospers.”
