When we introduced SOLUTIONS over a year ago, we made a dynamic commitment to provide agencies with a consistent, clear way to document how they do business.  One of the reasons we believed this to be such an important part of SOLUTIONS is because many agencies focus on "Workflows", and we made the decision to focus on "Procedures".

What's the difference?  And why is it so important to know the difference?

In next month's issue of The Source we are beginning a series outlining the difference in "Procedures" and "Workflows", and we will be presenting information that, in many cases, you would be paying good money to get.

As preparation for this series, I am going to make one of my famous "absolutely true" statements - If your agency does not have current Procedures that everyone in your agency is following- your agency is not really growing!  You may write business, and may even have relatively good revenue - but you are still not growing.  Why?  That's what we will also be discussing over the next few months.
